Walking in a Spiritual Garden. I just took this picture. It's about 57°F which is almost 14°C. It's December 30th in Southern California, and the warmer temperature means lots of winter growth like clover. Picture 2 (filters applied) of 2. Picture 1 was the original no filter picture. Experimenting to see the before and after. No filters was a happenstantial shot with distortion and noise applied by glass. Picture 2 pulls out more blue and fades the edges into obscurity as the focus is applied. To some extent effects can happen with a good camera, lense, and knowledge of angles F-stop and lighting. Filters allow you to perhaps be a little lazy on a shoot and "fix" these things later. I used to to this for professional photographers on things like wedding and senior portraits. But that does not make me a photographer. Paleo Chocolate Chip Cookies - best cookies ever! These cookies made by my wife @delifefull have great texture, incredible flavor, and are made from whole paleo ingredients. There is none of that "diet equivalent of" or the "healthier version" going on here. Although it's true that these are free of gluten demons, and lack the chemical ingredients the big food devils put in the garbage they produce. The Slow March. On one hand, I love being productive. The measure of productive, however, is not money. I feel bad for most people who have acquired money, because they don't know how to manage it. They become concerned with Earthly things, and not Spiritual things. ...I know - so says the guy without money. But this isn't sour grapes. I earn a decent amount of money. Money can always be earned. Rather, I look at how we have chosen to earn money. The slow march of cars carrying people to desks where they will do work they could do from anywhere, sacrificing weeks of their lives per month without compensation, reward, recognition, edification, and... money. Listen to a book, use the time to pray, think, daydream, sing to music, call someone, hold a conference call. - I've done it all. My daughter will tell you that I love her no matter what. One of the things my Heavenly Father has been teaching me is His Heart. God is Love, a divine Love. So many of His blessings come in the form of perspective. He Loves us beyond human reason. Beyond the love we can muster. Far beyond our emotional intelligence and understanding. Love no matter what means that even when it's hard, I love. Even when people come against me, I love. And regardless of what situation we are in, I love. It's the mark of a follower, to love. But we cannot on our own. We are in total dependence on El Elohim who through His Spirit is able to manifest His Love in us. Only Jesus did this completely, and only in Jesus was the Father well pleased. But despite ourselves, He Loves us. And the Heart of the Father is manifested in me when I empty myself and allow Him in. And because of this I know that no matter what, I will always love my daughter. Rapid moving lights from the freeway dance in front of the Setting Sun in Orange County California. The chaos of the commute flies by and comes to a grinding halt not far from where this picture was taken. The malignancy that is the Los Angeles metropolitan area freeway system is a sad example of what our society has become. In my opinion it's pathetic that we have chosen this as a culture. This can't be what God intended for our lives. It bothers me that we sacrifice so much of our Lives sitting and freeways going to office and working for businesses that have Antiquated perspectives on how work should be done. Every conversation that I've had with a business leader about how telecommuting and work from home or ineffective are inevitably with older business people who don't understand how to best track productivity and value as it relates to the business and their employees. All of this culminates in displays of active color and grinding painful torturous traffic. It's a sad situation.
